About Hotscope
Hotscope is a high end hair studio in Sugar Land, Texas, built around one idea: hair done properly, by people who keep learning. Many of our clients still know us as MG Salon, and the name above the door is the only thing that changed. Same owner, same chairs, same standard.
We are a hair salon first. Cuts, color, balayage, keratin smoothing, extensions and bridal styling all happen in house, alongside the haircare advice that keeps the result looking right long after you leave. Every appointment begins with a consultation, never with assumptions.
Owner Led Floor
Manny Guerrero cuts and teaches in the salon, he does not run it from an office.

The whole team keeps training, so techniques stay current season after season.
English And Spanish
Both spoken on the floor, so nothing gets lost between you and your stylist.

Every client is 18 or over and no children are in the salon, so the floor stays calm.
Our Story
How Hotscope was built, and who is behind the chair.
The salon began as MG Salon, founded by Manny Guerrero, who has honed his craft through extensive training and collaboration with top professionals across the country. He still works the floor as both stylist and educator, which means the standard is set by the person whose name is on the business rather than handed down in a memo.
That commitment to education runs through the whole team. Our hairstylists and makeup artists train continuously, so the technique you sit down for is current, not something learned years ago and never revisited. It is also why we would rather turn a service down than deliver work we cannot stand behind.
This team pours their hearts into everything they do, and it shows in every experience we create for you. Hotscope is built on family, where everyone feels seen, supported and genuinely cared for. That culture is our greatest pride.
The result is a room that feels personal rather than transactional. You are not passed between stations, rushed through a booking slot or sold a service you did not come in for. We would be honored to have you sit in our chairs and become part of it.

We look at your hair type, density, growth pattern and condition, then talk through what you want and what your hair can actually take. You hear the honest answer and the price before anything starts.
The Work Itself
Cutting, coloring, smoothing or styling, done with the technique that suits your hair rather than the one that is trending. Bond care goes into every chemical service as standard.
The Plan You Take Home
Before you leave, you get a short routine you can realistically keep: how to wash it, how to style it, and when to come back so the shape and the color still hold.

Salon Policies
Written down so every client is treated the same way, including you.
Who Can Book
Only adult women may book appointments, and all clients must be at least 18 years old. No children are permitted in the salon. It keeps the floor calm and safe for everyone working around heat, blades and color.
Arrival And Timing
We run a fair business and keep a strict timing policy, so please arrive on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, the appointment is canceled, because holding it would take the slot from the client booked after you.
Cancellations And New Clients
Cancellations need 48 hours notice. Inside that window, 40 percent of the booking is charged, and a no call, no show is charged in full. New clients secure an appointment with a valid credit card, charged only if this policy applies.
